A while back I spent a few days on a rural property in Matsqui, BC. Among the various farm buildings was a house, built in 1955, awaiting demolition. It was a fascinating study in texture, color, and deterioration over time. So much can happen in 60 years, and this place was a vivid and poignant testament to the lives that had passed through it.
