Exhibition dates are: Saturday, Oct 28, Sunday, Oct 29, Friday, Nov 3, Saturday, Nov 4 – OPENING CELEBRATION, Sunday, Nov 5, Friday, Nov 10, Saturday, Nov 11, Sunday, Nov 12, Wednesday, Nov 15. The gallery is located at Lower Floor, 12160 Beecher Street, Surrey, BC, and will be open between 11 am and 4:30 pm on the above dates.

Hope you can visit and check us out!

As always, the Brass Band Art Group loves exploring the natural world. I captured the pictures below during an extended autumn visit to the quaint, isolated, captivating village of Hedley, situated in the Similkameen Valley, near Princeton, BC. It's one of my favorite places!

A Bit Random.......

More from the upcoming Brass Band Crescent Beach show. The rock image is from the Glen, and the Angel/Devil photo was inspired by a shoot at North Vancouver's Deep Cove.

Double Vision

It's been a long, cold winter here, the kind that discourages outdoor photographic junkets. During a recent indoor shoot with the Brass Band Art Group, I explored the camera's "multiple exposure" setting. Some shots were taken on a tripod, others were hand held. All were great fun to do.

Early Summer

I know, it's not really early Summer any more - we are well into it, and isn't it glorious? In early June I returned to Linda Steele's beautiful Morningside Creek property. The landscape had changed once again - with blossoms blooming at every turn. I usually take a tripod, but seldom end up using it. This time was no exception.

Another Day in Paradise

Autumn is upon us, and I was lucky enough to spend another day with the Brass Band Art Group, at Linda Steele's property in Surrey. The change in season has not diminished the charm of the place, and once again its magic took hold. Our task was to start a project called 'The Four Seasons', where we will interpret nature as it changes throughout the year. Hmmm. Not sure that got done, but I sure had fun!

The Magic Kingdom

My artist friend, Linda Steele, of the Brass Band Art Group, recently moved to a beautiful property in Surrey. Last week I had the opportunity to explore her garden, which is a cornucopia of water, trees, and flowers. The sights, sounds, and colors were spectacular. Here are a few impressions. I intend to return; Linda, you have been warned!
