Today we lost our precious dog, Kylie. She was nearly 16 years old. We got her as a young adult, rescued from a puppy mill that was shut down. In her early life she mothered many beautiful babies, and her back was bent from carrying those litters.
It took our girl a while, but she adapted, blossoming with true Australian Shepherd spirit. We were treated to her indomitable will, sharp wit, and ready grin. She never lost these gifts, and even as her body weakened, she amazed us with her strength, courage and resourcefulness.
Eventually, the burdens became too great, and we had to let her go.
We miss you terribly, angel pup. You were one in millions.

It makes me feel good you wrote this. I will
always remember her. She will always be part
of our 3 dog night.
Losing a dog is like losing any family member; sad, but we cherish the time we shared with them - and they're never forgotten. Hope she marks her territory all over the place.
Oh, and if she runs into my beloved German Shepherd in doggie wonderland, tell her not to trust him. He thought he was Errol Flynn in real life.
she's on the long and winding road to the other side where she will be waiting for you
Finally watched the video Kylie looks happy
and so am I.
Your pictures of Oregon are amazing didn't
know it had such beautiful places.
