Photo Session!

A couple of days ago, Kat Moon had our first band photo session. It was strange not having a camera in my hands, but talented Tracy Gendron did a great job capturing the essence of our group. Here's one of the shots:

And There's More!

Last week we played our first paid gig. Given that we've only been together since January, 2022, I think that's pretty cool. This outdoor show was for the City of Langley's Sounds of Summer Series, and we rocked it for an hour to a 70-strong audience. There was even dancing in the streets!

Check out the latest YouTubes: KatMoon performing Little Feat's 'Willin', and Poison's 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn'. Something for everyone, indeed!!!

KatMoon

And now for my latest adventure - a groovy little music group! KatMoon is our name, and we just wanna have fun. Members include David McGuire, lead vocals/rhythm guitar, Diane Gendron, bass/harmony vocals, David Johnson, lead guitar, and yours truly on harmony vocals. Oh, and our trusty Beat Buddy on drums - anyone know an awesome human drummer? Shoot me an email....

We have our very own YouTube channel and are busy working on music and performing.

Check out a couple of our songs: 'White Bird', originally by It's A Beautiful Day, and Blake Shelton's 'Boys Round Here'. Both pieces were recently performed at Bez Arts Hub in Langley, with many more gigs on the way!

From Frying Pan to Fire

To say I've been absent from this platform is quite an understatement. Life  REALLY got in the way. Now that the dust has settled it's clear I'm on a new path, revisiting a much loved area of discovery - MUSIC. I've always enjoyed singing and writing and lately have been exploring the wonderful world of production. Without further ado I introduce my original piece, 'Le Reve', a loop compilation of French poetry and the freeform guitar stylings of David S. Johnson. Enjoy!
